INTRODUCTION

The FUNDACIÓN MARGIE (FUNDAMAR) is a civil organization for charity, without distinction of race, religion nor political creed of social and humanitarian development, created the 1 of November of the 2008 and with cover in all the department of Atlantis and its environs. The aims and general missions of the foundation Margie “FUNDAMAR” are the following:

• To design, to plan and to develop projects, programs and action to support the most vulnerable groups of the country (women, single woman, young mothers, ethnic young people, groups, farmers, and people with physical and mental incapacity, in areas of education, health, house, sport, technical formation and familiar integration and to fortify by means of these actions the processes of social and human development.
• To implement strategic alliances with centers or nongovernmental organizations (ONG’s) civic municipalities, patronages, committees and private sector; at national and international level local able to generate joint operations in favor of the health, education, house etc. and the integral rights of people of limited economic resources of our country.
• To contribute with the corresponding State Beings in tasks of protection and defense of the human rights of the most vulnerable groups of the country by means of programs of professional in the legal areas, medical and psychological support and to contribute this way in processes of integral and social growth at individual, group and collective level.

VISION

To be a nongovernmental Organism (ONG) leader in promoting projects of health, education, house etc…. in order to create a change in our society, being supported by the integral transformation of the people to which we served respecting the cultural, religious, racial diversity, and sexual, by means of the support of governmental authorities, deprived company, philanthropic institutions or ONG’s and all sector of the good hearted society at national and international level.

The presidency of the foundation shows the Lady DAISY DABDOUB SIKAFFI, (Margie DIP) recognized altruistic lady of the Community of the Municipality of the Ceiba, enormous personal commitment with the most needed and recognized trajectory in the defense and aid of the most needed.

Fundamar began operations in the month of November of the year 2008, with approximately 6 people as voluntary personnel, at the moment it counts with and has 15 direct employees that the offices and clinics of Fundamar toil daily in and 30 indirect volunteers between medical, legal and educational personnel.
